Do Not Be Afraid To Fail En Route To Your Success

Let's look at the definition of fail. 

Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit.

Nothing in that definition means PERMANENT... Yes we're going to fall and miss the mark, but SO WHAT!? When our children are toddlers learning how to walk and talk, we wouldn't dare say to them "give up", "go sit down and stop trying", "it's not going to work for you", but that's what we tell ourselves almost on a daily basis, and that needs to stop! 

We've got to stop being scared to fail. Failure is simply learning something new, learning a new way to do something. Successful people learn how to fail fast, learn from it, and apply the wisdom they learned from their "failure" to their future successes. But you will never get to this point if you give up every time something doesn't go the way you thought it should. When an apple seed goes into the ground, the tree is already in it. 

The same is true for us as well. When we were created our purpose was inside of us too, and it's up to us to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to manifest the person you and I were created to be.

So we will fail, according to Wikipedia, but we can always get back up, learn from it, and apply it to our future successes. I fail often, and I look forward to the days when I am able to learn the lesson out of the failure, and I want to teach you how!

• Forget about yesterday - it's OVER! There is nothing you can do about the abortion, the foreclosure, the divorce, the job loss, the business closing, the repossessed car, the boyfriend that cheated on you, and the fact that you are not where you think you "should" be at this age! Forget about ALL that and accept the gift of TODAY! Today is a present, so open it up! 
• Always stay close to someone that does what you want to do or who has achieved the success that you want. If you follow this ONE tip your life will drastically change! Who you allow in your personal space is EXTREMELY imperative to you becoming the authentic person God created you to be. It has been said, and I know it to be true, that you will be just like the five people you spend the most of your time with! So if your friends have bad credit, you'll have bad credit, if they live mediocre lives you will live a mediocre life, if you can't keep a man...you guessed it, your girls can't keep one either. You have to associate higher, you have to go outside of your comfort zone and begin to hang around people that look different than you, that speak different than you, talk different than you, go to a different church than you, and eat different foods than you. Associate HIGHER! 
• Ignore the people who don't believe in you. Listen, the truth is you're going to lose some friends and acquaintances along the way. Don't let that stop you, as it's a part of the process. It may be painful and uncomfortable for a while, but hold on! God will place new friends in your life, divine connections. And you'll know it because when you meet them you'll feel like you've known them forever! Ignore all others....
• Love yourself daily! You've got to be your OWN BEST FRIEND...your girlfriends are not always going to be available for you to call. At some point you'll have to stand on your own two feet, put your big girl panties on and DO THE DAG ON THING! So speak kindly to yourself, treat yourself to a candle-lit dinner for one, run yourself a hot bubble bath, curl up and read your favorite book, or whatever lights you up! 

WARNING: If you apply just ONE of these habits your life will change drastically!
